This group of intensely creative musicians have brought together an explosive repertoire of funk, fusion, jazz standards, and dynamic originals, which is guaranteed to leave you wanting more!

The ensemble emerged from an equally dynamic duo, "2 blue" in 2003 when founding members Brett Spokes (Sax) and Wayne Robinson (Piano / Keys) started a search for other like-minded, high calibre musicians to realise a shared vision of what they called a "Fusion Musik concept". The idea was to draw on the diverse stylistic and cultural music experiences of members and combine it with inspired, creative and precise musicianship. That translates into having a great time making great music!

Subito's repertoire includes a blend of original material as well as arrangements of classics by artists such as The Brecker Brothers, Dave Weckl Band, Chick Corea, Tower of Power, George Benson and even The Beatles to name a few. Since it's foundation, Subito has developed into an immensely cohesive and versatile ensemble.

The name 'Subito' is in fact an Italian musical term meaning "suddenly" or "Right Now" - somewhat indicative of the apparent spontaneity of the arrangements they perform. Subito's debut EP "Right Now - limited edition" and "Right Now - remix with bonus tracks" is available… Right Now!

The ensemble is dedicated to providing audiences with a diverse selection of creative, enjoyable music within the genre of 'Fusion Musik'.
